Former United winger open to England return

Former Manchester United winger Nani is open to a Premier League return, according to One World Sports.

Nani, 29, has spent the last year in Turkey at Fenerbahce after being deemed surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal in 2015 following a loan spell back at boyhood club Sporting Lisbon.

The Portugal international has enjoyed a prolific maiden campaign with Fenerbahce but the winger is hoping to secure a return to the Premier League at the end of the season.

Potential admirers would only be required to activate his €8m (£6.4m) release clause and some teams could do worse than penning his services.

Nani has played a direct hand in 11 league goals for the Yellow Canaries (seven goals, four assists) in 22 appearances this season and has picked up the WhoScored.com Man of the Match award more times than any other teammates (4).

Moreover, of players to have made at least 20 appearances in the Super Lig this season, only three players are requiring fewer minutes per clear-cut chance created than Nani (37.2 mins).
