Bellerin hints at Arsenal stay

Hector Bellerin has given his biggest indication yet that he will stay at Arsenal next season.

The Spain international was an odds on favourite to leave Arsenal at one point this season after allegedly falling out with supporters.

Bellerin reportedly wanted a new challenge and was briefly linked with a move to Juventus and Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho wants to sign a new right-back this summer and Bellerin was being considered by the United boss.

However, Bellerin has not indicated that he will stay at Arsenal after revealing his ambition to take the No.2 jersey next year.

“In the summer, I’m going to ask for the number two shirt,” he said in a video on Arsenal’s official YouTube page, via Sky Sports. “I’ve already spoken to Vic, he knows.”

Bellerin hints at Arsenal stay

Bellerin was once considered the best right-back in the Premier League but he has struggled to stay at the same level over the last 18 months.

Nevertheless, Bellerin has completed more dribbles than any other defender (132) in the last three Premier League campaigns.
