Inter have announced they have signed Sampdoria striker Eder on a four-and-a-half year deal.
Roberto Mancini’s side have been heavily linked with a move for Eder since the January transfer window opened but looked to have missed out following late interest from Premier League leaders Leicester.
However, former Inter captain Andrea Ranocchia completed a switch to Sampdoria on Thursday, which is thought to have helped broker the deal reported to be worth £10m.
“I’m thrilled to be here. So many years of sacrifice in my work led me to come to a great club like Inter,” Eder told club’s official website.
Since the start of the season only Gonzalo Higuain (21) has scored more goals than Eder in Serie A (12).
