Aston Villa and Newcastle are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, claims France Football.
Sirigu, 28, has recently lost his position as PSG’s No.1 man between the sticks to summer-signing Kevin Trapp and has been touted with a move away ever since.
Reports in France claim Premier League duo Villa and Newcastle are battling for the Italian’s signature, but they could face competition from AC Milan.
Prior to the start of this season, no goalkeeper had kept more clean sheets in Ligue 1 than Sirigu since the 2011/12 campaign (63).
