New Sunderland manager David Moyes has confirmed he is interest in signing Manchester United pair Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj this summer.
Moyes brought Fellaini to the Premier League at Everton and then made the Belgian midfielder his first signing as United manager in a deal worth £27.5m.
Januzaj also worked with Moyes during his 10 months as United manager and both have dropped down the pecking order since he was sacked and are thought to be free to leave this summer, with the Scotsman interested in both.
“They’re excellent players,” Moyes is quoted as saying by The Guardian. “We’re interested but I’m sure there’s a load of other clubs that are as well.
“We’re interested in lots of good players. You have to have a realistic view. There’ll be some players we can attract just now and some players we can’t.”
Fellaini has committed more fouls in the Premier League since the start of the 2011/12 campaign than any other player (304).
