RB Leipzig have earmarked the signature of former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry as one of their top transfer targets this summer, reports Kicker, via Get French Football.
Gnabry only joined Werder Bremen from Arsenal at the start of the season but has been a revelation for the Bundesliga side and has even earned his first senior Germany caps as a result of his goalscoring exploits.
The 21-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich before joining Bremen and Carlo Ancelotti’s side are still thought to be interested in the versatile German forward.
However, Leipzig are determined to bolster their offensive options in the summer to ensure they are ready for when they welcome Champions League football for the first time in the club’s short history.
Gnabry has scored 11 goals for Bremen this season and has played a big part in their transformation from relegation strugglers to European chasers.
