Inter demand €60m for Tottenham target

Inter have told Tottenham to cough up €60m (£55.3m) to sign Milan Skrinar this summer, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.

Antonio Conte is not counting on Skriniar for the new campaign and is willing to cash in if Inter receive the right offer.

Inter have already offloaded Diego Godin to Cagliari and Skriniar's departure will enable the Serie A outfit to move for Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic.

Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a new defender before the transfer window closes after Jan Vertonghen left Tottenham on a free at the start of the summer.

Skriniar was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United during Mourinho's time as manager but the Slovakia international's reputation has taken a hit in the last 12 months.

The 25-year-old was considered one of the best emerging centre-backs in Italy but dropped down the pecking order under Conte last season.

Of players that started at least 25 matches in Serie A last season, Skriniar had the best pass success rate in the division (92.1%).
