Loris Karius has conceded he could leave Liverpool this summer following the arrival of Alisson.
Liverpool made Alisson the most expensive goalkeeper of all-time at the end of last week after prioritising the need to sign a new man between the sticks.
Karius has endured a miserable two years at Liverpool and his career hit a new low point in last season’s Champions League final.
The German shot-stopper made two costly errors in Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid and now Jurgen Klopp has signed an upgrade.
Karius’ future has been cast into serious doubt at Anfield and the 25-year-old has conceded he doesn’t know what will happen next.
“Of course, this is not perfect for me, but I cannot say much more about it,” Karius told The Daily Mirror.
“I don’t know [whether I’ll leave]. “I can’t say what I’m doing right now. There’s still some time left.”
Karius made more errors that directly led to an opposition goal than any other goalkeeper in the Champions League last season (3).
