England international scores perfect 10 in Premier League Team of the Week?
Harry Kane’s struggles in the Premier League have been well documented this season. There had been doubts whether the England international was suffering from second-season syndrome, although most had faith he would recapture the goalscoring form that elevated him to senior international football last season.
The 22-year-old only had one league goal prior to this weekend’s action, but he finished gameweek 10 having put all those doubts to bed with a hat-trick in Spurs’ 5-1 demolition away to Bournemouth.
Kane was one of three Tottenham players to make the Premier League Team of the Week, alongside Kyle Walker (WhoScored rating 8.08) and Erik Lamela (7.96), but it was Kane that finished GW10 with the highest WhoScored rating of all players (10).
The Spurs No.10 scored three goals from just five shots on goal, won at least four more aerial duels than any other player on display at Dean Court (7) and also contributed defensively with 3 tackles and interceptions combined.
