Arsenal keen on Wolves attacker

Wolves forward Diogo Jota has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal, claims The Daily Mail.

Jota has enjoyed another impressive campaign for Wolves, who are pushing for a top four berth under Nuno.

The Portugal international is one part of Wolves' deadly attack alongside Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez and all three have been linked with big money moves.

With Wolves pushing for another season in Europe, Nuno's side would prefer to keep hold of their star players but Jota's future at the club is perhaps most vulnerable.

Jimenez and Traore both still have three years remaining on their current deals but Jota's contract is due to expire in the summer of 2022.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will address the club's wingers once the season finally ends and Jota is on his radar as a potential transfer target.

The 23-year-old hit a real purple patch of form prior to football being postponed with six goals and three straight WhoScored Man of the Match awards in his last five appearances.

Jota has surprisingly scored as many goals in six Europa League appearances this season as he has managed in 25 league games (6).
