Leicester are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Hull defender Harry Maguire for a fee in the region of £16m, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Maguire has been heavily linked with a move away from Hull since they were relegated from the Premier League last season after enjoying a thoroughly impressive end to the 2016/17 campaign.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a number of top Premier League clubs in recent months, including Tottenham, but Leicester appear to have won the race for the hulking defender.
Maguire will now discuss personal terms with the Foxes and undergo a medical before a deal can be finalised, with an official announcement expected from the former Premier League champions at some stage this week.
Despite playing at centre-back, Maguire completed more dribbles than any other Hull player in the Premier League last season (29). Furthermore, only Marcos Alonso (46) had more shots of all defenders in England’s top-flight last term than the Hull ace (34).
