Manchester United have completed a deal for Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane.
Varane, who was unveiled to a capacity Old Trafford crowd before their 5-1 win over Leeds on Saturday, has put pen to paper on a four-year deal running until the summer of 2025.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side agreed an initial £34m deal with Madrid at the end of last month but there was some delay before a deal was officially completed.
Varane first had to obtain a Visa to travel to England and was then forced to quarantine for five days before he could complete his move.
The France international is the third signing United have made this summer following the arrivals of Tom Heaton and Jadon Sancho.
Varane had entered the final 12 months of his Madrid contract and had no intention of renewing with the Spanish giants.

Madrid were forced to cash in on Varane this summer rather than lose him for nothing, ending his 10-year stint with Los Blancos.
United were originally beaten to Varane's signing by Madrid in 2011 but have now signed the 28-year-old.
Varane is unlikely to start United's opening game of the season but Solskjaer believes he is the perfect centre-back to partner captain Harry Maguire.
Of players that made at least four appearances at Euro 2020, Varane had the best pass success rate in the competition (94.2%).
