Juventus are preparing an opening offer of €20m (£17.3m) for Paris Saint-Germain Blaise Matuidi, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, via Get French Football.
Matuidi, 29, has been heavily linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions since Unai Emery was appointed their new manager at the end of last season.
The France international’s future is up in the air following and Juventus are looking to take advantage of the situation as they look for a new midfielder to replace Paul Pogba.
Matuidi is reportedly keen to make the move to Juventus where he would play alongside national teammate Patrice Evra and the Old Lady already have a four-year deal waiting for him.
In the last six Ligue 1 seasons only two players have completed more tackles than Matuidi (430).
