Ricardo Oliveira is set to become the latest Brazilian to make the switch to the Chinese Super League after accepting a lucrative offer from Beijing Guoan, reports ESPN Brazil.
Oliveira, 35, enjoyed a stunning campaign with Santos last season that earned him a recall back into the Brazil squad for the first time since 2006.
The Santos frontman has reportedly agreed to a lucrative deal with the Chinese Super League outfit that will see him pocket £8.6m per year, which is rumoured to be more than six times what he currently earns.
Oliveira was set to receive a tribute from Santos, as well as a stage a press conference on Wednesday, but neither happened with the veteran set to fly out to China to agree terms and attempt to secure his £8.6m release from Santos.
The Santos striker scored at least six more goals than any other player in the Brasileirao last season (20).
