Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is weighing up a move for Athletic Club winger Inaki Williams, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.
Williams, 22, became the first black player to score in Athletic’s 117-year history last season and his performances have caught the eye of Klopp, who reportedly wants to transform the Spain U21 international into the next Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Liverpool will have to fight for his signature with Merseyside rivals Everton, but any suitor will have to match the €50m (£44.7m) release clause in his contract, which he signed at the start of 2016.
Since the start of last season only Aduriz (25) has scored more goals in the league for Athletic than Williams (9).
