Chelsea have rejected Atletico Madrid’s €60m (£50m) bid to re-sign Diego Costa, according to Marca, via Bleacher Report.
Costa, 26, has been heavily linked with a return to Madrid only two years after making a £32m switch to Chelsea.
The Spain international is reportedly unhappy with life in England and wants to return to Atletico but Chelsea manager Antonio Conte insists he wants the controversial striker to remain at the club.
Of the 93 league goals Costa has scored in the last seven seasons only one of those has been scored from outside of the penalty area.
