Laurent Blanc has confirmed Liverpool target Lucas Digne has asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Digne, 22, has been heavily linked with another of European giants this summer, including Atlético Madrid and Roma, having been an understudy to the experienced Maxwell since joining the club from rivals Lille in 2013.
“First, it is he who very clearly asked to leave,” Blanc cleared up with L’Equipe.
“For now, he is with us, he is very professional, he trains very well and has prepared excellently. He has shown results in friendless.
“This is firstly a very good thing for him and possibly for us, should he stay with us this season.”
Of all PSG players to have made more than 10 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, only four others gained a worse WhoScored rating than Digne (6.94).

I asked to leave. Then made a statement that people interpreted as I was staying. Then I left and people called me a snake. Lemme give you advice, Digne. Never EVER join VIlla and join Man City for the money.
