No PSG renewal for midfielder, says agent

The agent of Blaise Matuidi insists Paris Saint-Germain are yet to offer the midfielder a new contract amid speculation linking him with a move to Juventus.

Matuidi, who has entered the final two years of his existing deal, was heavily linked with a move to Juventus in the summer only for a deal to be blocked at the last moment by PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

It was thought the Ligue 1 champions would looked to secure his long-term services thereafter but Raiola insists there has been no offer since.

“We haven’t received any offer from PSG,” Raiola told Le Parisien, via Football Italia. When necessary though, we’ll discuss it with the directors.”

Since August 2009 only Maxime Gonalons (763) has won more tackles in Ligue 1 than Matuidi (675).
