Fenerbahce have made Hatem Ben Arfa a huge offer to join them next season, according to L’Equipe, via Get French Football.
Ben Arfa’s existing deal with Nice is due to expire this summer and the France international has been heavily mooted with a high-profile move this summer following his sensational return to form last season.
The 29-year-old, who was omitted from the France squad for the Euros, was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona at the end of last season but those rumours have since died down and Fenerbahce have now entered the race to sign the Premier League flop.
Fenerbahce have approached the ex-Newcastle winger with a project that would build their entire team around him, but it is understood that Ben Arfa would prefer to remain in Ligue 1 and is targeting a move to Lyon.
Only four players garnered a higher WhoScored.com rating in Ligue 1 last season than Ben Arfa (7.58), who also racked up more successful dribbles than any other player (152).
