Manchester City have launched a stunning £50m bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, according to The Daily Mirror.
Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of Kroos and is keen to reunite with the Germany international in the Premier League this summer.
The City boss was reluctantly forced to let Kroos leave Bayern for Madrid in 2014 but has now launched an audacious bid to sign him.
Kroos, 26, has found it hard to establish his best position at Madrid but excelled at Euro 2016 for Germany.
Zinedine Zidane’s side need to sell one of their stars to have any chance of competing with Manchester United for Paul Pogba this summer and could be tempted by City’s huge offer.
Only Roberto Trashorras (4564) has completed more accurate passes in the last two La Liga seasons than Kroos (4447).
