Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Arda Turan from La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid.
The Turkey international had been expected to leave the Spanish capital this summer.
Chelsea looked to be in the driving seat to secure his signature, but the Blaugrana stole a march on their Premier League counterparts and, on Monday night, announced that Arda had indeed moved to Camp Nou.
Arda becomes the club’s second summer signing after Aleix Vidal, though is ineligible to play an official game for his new team until January due to Barcelona’s transfer ban.
