Napoli have announced the club-record arrival of PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano.
Lozano has reportedly penned a five-year contract running until the summer of 2024 after Napoli agreed a €42m (£38.5m) deal with their Dutch counterparts.
Napoli have been looking to bolster their offensive options all summer but have endured a frustrating time in the transfer window.
The Serie A giants fell short in their pursuit of James Rodriguez and Nicolas Pepe, with the former staying at Real Madrid and the latter moving to Arsenal.
Napoli were forced to rekindle their interest in Lozano as a result and have finally got a deal over the line for the Mexico international.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side have been locked in talks with Lozano’s agent, Mino Raiola, for a number of weeks trying to reach a deal for the player’s image rights.
The 24-year-old has played a direct hand in 50 goals in 60 league appearances for PSV (34 goals, 16 assists) since joining from Mexican side Pachua in 2017.
