Leicester interested in Milan striker

Leicester City and Stoke are set to battle it out for AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang, according to Sky Sports.

The Foxes have already begun planning for next season after securing Champions League football next season and Claudio Ranieri has been busy identifying possible targets to add depth to their squad.

Leicester tried to sign the Milan striker in January but ran out of time to agree terms with the 21-year-old but are keen on rekindling their interest this summer.

Niang, who is currently sidelined with an ankle injury sustained in a car accident, has put in a series of impressive performances this summer and the Premier League leaders can expect competition from Stoke for his signature.
