Everton are preparing a new contract for star midfielder Ross Barkley, according to The Daily Mail.
Barkley, 23, still has two years left to run on his existing deal but the Toffees are keen to tie down his long-term future.
The Everton midfielder was harshly omitted from Sam Allardyce’s first England squad during the international break.
Since the start of last season only Wilfried Zaha (139) and Riyad Mahrez (137) has completed more dribbles in the Premier League than Barkley (117).
