Chelsea have earmarked Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante as one of their top transfer targets in the summer, according to The Daily Mirror.
Kante, 25, is arguably one of the signings of the season and his performances in the middle of the park have been integral behind Leicester’s stunning campaign.
The Leicester ace’s was named in Didier Deschamps’ France squad earlier this week for the first time in his career, capping what has been a remarkable season for the midfielder.
His performances have been so impressive that they have perked the interest of Chelsea, who are expected to ring wholesale changes in the summer following their torrid campaign.
No player has completed more tackles and interceptions across Europe’s top five leagues than Kante (247). He is also among the top-10 rated players in the Premier League this season (7.53).
