Leicester are determined to beat Southampton to the signature of Feyenoord attacking midfielder Tonny Vilhena, according to The Daily Mail, via Football Oranje.
Vilhena, 21, is out of contract in the summer and has been linked to a variety of Premier League clubs in recent weeks.
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen for a reunion with the Netherlands Under-21 international, but his pursuit could fall short following interest from the Premier League champions-elect.
The offer of Champions League football from Leicester may prove too strong for Vilhena to turn down this summer and may lead to the midfielder opting for the Foxes at the end of the season.
Vilhena has played a direct hand in nine league goals this season (five goals, four assists) from his 25 appearances thus far.
