Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has revealed he could make a move to the Premier League before retiring from football altogether.
Buffon, 37, has spent 14 years as Juventus’ No.1 goalkeeper and despite his age, he believes he can still play until he is nearly 40.
“I would have loved to have played in the Premier League,” Buffon is quoted as saying by Marca.
“I have spent 10 years at Parma, 15 at Juventus and I think I still have around two-and-a-half years left at the top. There still may be an opportunity.”
Since the start of the 2009/10 campaign, only Morgan De Sanctis (95) has kept more clean sheets than Buffon in Serie A (85).
