Team News

Granada
Atletico
  • Lass Bangoura and Javi Marquez miss out due to bans for the home side, with the former also picking up an injury last time out.
  • Jose Ramon Sandoval isn't expected to make many changes as a result, with Robert Ibanez expected to come in on the right-hand side.
  • Manuel Iturra should be partnered by Ruben Perez in the middle of the park, with the back four remaining unchanged.
  • Tiago returns from suspension for the visitors, with the Portuguese veteran likely to replace Mario Suarez in the starting XI.
  • Mario Mandzukic should be preferred to Fernando Torres up front, with the Croatia international partnering Antoine Griezmann.
  • Jose Gimenez could retain his place after a solid outing against Barcelona, but Miranda will be breathing down the Uruguayan's neck for a start.

Prediction

  • Sandoval has managed to inspire the home side to three consecutive wins since arriving at the helm, with Granada sitting two points above the drop zone heading into the last day.
  • Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes has been something of a fortress since late November, with the hosts suffering only two defeats in 13 games on home soil.
  • Atletico come into this contest on a three-match winless run, but are unbeaten on the road in seven La Liga matches, and have scored on their last five away trips.

  • Eibar will win, but I don't see Almeria winning against Valencia who wants to win as well. A draw should be save today for Granada, and then Atletico will be happy as well. X @ 2.20

  • A draw doesn't guarantee Granada safety. If Eibar and Almeria both win they are relegated on H2H v Almeria an GD v Eibar

  • There can be a draw, especially considering that both teams are completely satisfied with 1 point, completely not satisfied with 0 and do not need 3. though I cant see Granada scoring 2 goals, the draw could be 0:0 or 1:1
