Team News

Tottenham
Leicester
  • After a decidedly below par performance at Old Trafford last week, Mauricio Pochettino could consider changes for the visit of Leicester.
  • Roberto Soldado missed the United game with a knee injury but could return here.
  • Ryan Mason was taken off in that game but should be fit to play here.
  • Kasper Schmeichel has returned from injury but could remain on the bench after Mark Schwarzer kept a clean sheet at home to Hull last time out.
  • Dean Hammond is Nigel Pearson's only injury concern.
  • Jeffrey Schlupp was a real threat when Leicester won at White Hart Lane in the FA Cup and should go back into midfield.

Prediction

  • Tottenham's season is in danger of petering out after they lost 3-0 at Manchester United last weekend, a result that leaves them 6 points off top 4 with only 9 games remaining.
  • They absolutely have to win this one at home to rock-bottom Leicester, who look down and without a hope having taken only 2 points from the last available 21.
  • The Foxes did turn around a 1-0 deficit with 7 minutes remaining to win here in the FA Cup back in January, but Spurs are unlikely to make the same mistakes again this time around. As long as they can motivate themselves sufficiently Spurs should take all three points.

  • Tottenham - Leicester 2:0

  • This time the chicken ate the fox

  • @Xuxibo6793 This is top-notch wit. Have you been taking humour classes?

  • 2-0

  • I predict 2-1 with a late Eriksen winner. Mahrez as MOTM

  • Thank God for Harry Kane

  • Tottenham really needs to stop conceding if they want a chance of making top 4

  • @Gerald We're not going to make the Champions League. We concede a ton.

  • I love Chadli but he's so shit today

  • Kane, Kane, Kaneee

  • 2-2

  • Conceding 3 to Leicester at home? God Tottenham are awful.

  • @What4 And they had to win from an OG. Desperate. Pathetic. How on earth do they ever qualify for Europa League.

  • I really hope Walker and Rose aren't the starting full backs for the England qualifier against Lithuania. Terrible defenders the pair of them. Kane very good again. He gets a lot of close-range goals which is a great sign for a striker. I love a poacher.

  • @SteveHyland Personally, I think Vertonghen and Dier are weaker defensively than Walker/Rose. Walker/Rose do their role well enough. But Dier/Vertonghen/Bentaleb/Mason are like a colander.

  • @WordFlyer Yes and No. The worst thing is defensive performance of Bentaleb and Mason. They are so good in attacking play, but so bad defensively. Spurs need either to switch on 4-3-3 with compete DM or purchase more defensively oriented midfielder for next season.

  • 1:3 Kramaric hat trick

  • @ambrose you mean Kane hat trick
