Lokomotiv Moscow showed good resolve against Dinamo Moscow as they came from behind twice to pick up a point. The fact the team managed to bag a couple of goals could be a much needed shot of confidence for a side who have lacked an attacking threat recently.
A convincing thrashing of Arsenal Tula has provided Torpedo Moscow with massive impetus as they gradually claw themselves out of the relegation mire. However, a victory in the derby will be a much tougher ask.
Given the lack of goals in both of sides, it is hard to see this being a thrilling match up. Lokomotiv have the quality to come away with the victory, but it will likely be by the odd goal.
