- Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin named six changes to the Dons team after their mental midweek match, a 3-3 draw with Hibs at Easter Road, before a second consecutive share of the spoils as they drew 1-1 with Hearts on Sunday.
- Dimitar Mitov continued in goal - but was brought off through injury - behind the back four of James McGarry, replacing Jack MacKenzie at left-back, Gavin Molloy, Angus MacDonald, in for Slobodan Rubezic, and Nicky Devlin. Club captain Graeme Shinnie made way in midfield.
- Ante Palaversa joined Sivert Nilsen in the middle of the park at Tynecastle. Shayden Morris and goalscorer Leighton Clarkson replaced Duk and Topi Keskinen, to join Jamie McGrath in support of the sole striker. Ester Sokler took Kevin Nisbet's spot in the Aberdeen attack in Edinburgh at the weekend.
- Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers shuffled the pack, making six changes to the Celts side that was held at home by Club Brugge in their Champions League midweek match in a 1-1 draw at Parkhead, before a 5-0 victory over Ross County.
- Kasper Schmeichel continued in goal for the weekend win, behind a back four of Alex Valle, replacing Greg Taylor at left-back, Liam Scales, taking Auston Trusty's place at centre-back, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston.
- Captain Callum McGregor kept his place as Arne Engels and Reo Hatate made way for Paulo Bernardo and Luke McCowan. Midweek goalscorer Daizen Maeda was joined by James Forrest, as opposed to Nicholas Kühn, in support of Adam Idah who replaced Kyogo Furuhashi in attack.
