Rangers
- Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin named three changes to the Dons team that bounced back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Celtic in Glasgow, before they left it late to squeeze past Dundee United at Pittodrie thanks to a sole goal.
- Dimitar Mitov continued in goal behind the unchanged back four of Jack MacKenzie, Gavin Molloy, Slobodan Rubezic and Nicky Devlin. Sivert Nilsen was joined in midfield by Ante Palaversa, as opposed to club captain Graeme Shinnie.
- Duk replacing Leighton Clarkson who dropped to the bench, joined Jamie McGrath and Topi Keskinen in support of the sole striker. Kevin Nisbet missed out through injury, as Ester Sokler lead the line in the Aberdeen attack. Peter Ambrose netted the weekend winner off the bench, so may be handed another opportunity here.
- Rangers boss Philippe Clement made four changes from the Gers' 4-0 victory over Romanian side FCSB at Ibrox in their Europa League midweek match, before a 2-1 win against St Mirren on Sunday afternoon.
- Goalkeeper Jack Butland took the armband, as James Tavernier made way for Neraysho Kasanwirjo to make his first league start. John Souttar dropped out for Robin Propper to partner Leon Balogun in defence, as Jefte continued at left-back.
- Connor Barron and Nico Raskin sat in front of the back four, with Tom Lawrence being replaced by Mohamed Diomande who scored the opener at the weekend. Nedim Bajrami and the weekend matchwinner Vaclav Cerny supported Hamza Igamane as opposed to Cyriel Dessers up front.
