Dundee United
St. Mirren
- Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin named two changes to the Terrors team that cruised to a 3-0 victory over Ross County before the international break, as they picked up a point at Ibrox in a 1-1 draw against Rangers last weekend.
- A change of shape saw Kevin Holt and Declan Gallagher start at centre-back, with Emmanuel Adegboyega making way for an extra man in midfield. Will Ferry dropped to left-back and Ryan Strain to right-back.
- David Babunski and Vicko Sevelj were given the nod in the middle of the park, joined by Kai Fotheringham. Glenn Middleton and Luca Stephenson supported Sam Dalby, who has scored four goals in as many league matches, with Jort van der Sande dropping onto the bench.
- St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson named an unchanged Saints eleven as their decent recent record at Easter Road continued, with a 2-1 victory over Hibs before the break, and a wonderful win over Aberdeen by the same scoreline on Saturday.
- Ellery Balcombe continued in goal behind Richard Taylor, Alex Gogic and Marcus Fraser in the Buddies' back three. Elvis Bwomono continued at right wing-back and Scott Tanser remained at left wing-back.
- Killian Phillips started alongside club captain Mark O'Hara in the middle of the park. Conor McMenamin, who bagged a brace against the Hibees, joined Greg Kiltie in support of lone striker Toyosi Olusanya who scored last weekend.
