Team News

Tottenham
Fulham
  • Ange Postecoglou will hope to have Cristian Romero available for selection on Sunday.
  • Micky van de Ven, Wilson Odobert, Richarlison, Mikey Moore and Guglielmo Vicario are sidelined due to injury, while Rodrigo Bentancur serves the second of a seven-game domestic ban.
  • Sander Berge has been passed fit for Sunday's game in north London, but Joachim Andersen, Harrison Reed and Jorge Cuenca miss out.
  • Ryan Sessegnon is a doubt to face his former employers.

Prediction

  • Tottenham followed up their 4-0 win at Manchester City with a 2-2 draw with Roma on Thursday night as the Italian side rescued a point at the death in north London. Spurs have now won just one of their last four in all competitions.
  • Fulham crashed to a surprise 4-1 home defeat to Wolves last weekend, and the loss means they have failed to win four of their last six. Fulham have lost eight of their last 10 trips to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and are winless in five visits to north London, losing four times.
  • Even with home advantage, Fulham will make things difficult for Spurs. The Whites may have enough to claim a result this weekend.

  • FULHAM Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Smith Rowe, Iwobi, Nelson; Jimenez

  • SPURS Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Werner, Son, Johnson

  • 2-1

  • Tottenham are without several important players including Vicario, Romero, van de Ven, and Bentancur. Moreover, against Roma several players looked lacking in sharpness including Sarr, Kulusevski, and Solanke. Despite a few recent defeats, Fulham are playing really well this season and before yesterday's games were 2nd in the XPts table behind Liverpool. They press hard and are dangerous down the wings where Tottenham can be vulnerable. For Tottenham to get anything from this match they will have to take their early chances before they run out of steam. Gray might come in to give Porro a rest which might also protect the right wing a little more. Tottenham to score from a long shot (Son) and mid range shot (Solanke) with Fulham to score from a wing play situation (Rowe x2). Tottenham 2-2 Fulham
