Team News

Arsenal
Liverpool
  • Martin Odegaard, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Kieran Tierney are all ruled out through injury.
  • William Saliba will sit this one out following his red card against Bournemouth last weekend.
  • Jurrien Timber, Riccardo Calafiori and Bukayo Saka are all doubts, and did not take part in training on Friday.
  • Alisson, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa and Conor Bradley are ruled out for Liverpool.
  • Diogo Jota remains a doubt, and missed the midweek trip to Leipzig.

Prediction

  • Arsenal will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointment of a 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth last weekend, but will have to do so without key players William Saliba, Martin Odegaard, and potentially Bukayo Saka.
  • The Gunners claimed a 1-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in midweek, but will have to be better than they were if they are to pick up a result here.
  • League leaders Liverpool continued their fine start to life under Arne Slot, making it 11 wins in 12 matches across all competitions under the Dutchman.
  • Slot has guided the Reds to a victory in each of their first six away matches of the season, becoming the first manager in the club's history to do so.

  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.85 Odds

  • @Marbella That was easy won after just 43 minutes :)

  • LIVERPOOL Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Robertson, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Jones, Salah, Diaz, Nunez.

  • ARSENAL Raya, Partey, White, Gabriel, Timber, Rice, Merino,Trossard, Saka, Martinelli, Havertz

  • btts?

  • This is a big test for Arteta team today , thats the problem with Arsenal every season , they cant handle the pressure of the big games, thats why they will never win the premier league, the last season proof my point when they wasted the league in the last race for the title

  • @Ortega_10 this clearly some chelsea fan talking out his arse, that being said, too many key players are out so it might be a draw today, 1-1 for me

  • @slapped He is not a Chelsea fan. But surprise, surprise, it's a Juventus fan talking out of his arse! Imagine that!

  • @Ortega_10 they literally had the best big 6 record in the past 2 seasons lmao they just dropped points against small teams

  • Arsenal win or draw.

  • Arsenal will be flying this Sunday. One nil' to THE ARSENAL!!!!

  • Liverpool win , light work!

  • not a game i would gamble on not with that referee

  • How

  • Under 2.5

  • The most improved thing in Arsenal this season is their defense with Saliba & Gabriel the best in europe of course after Cubarsi & Martinez

  • @Ortega_10 Cubarsi? Are you serious?

  • 1-1 scoreline

  • Farteta will bunker, but with Zinchenko/Partey as wingbacks and potentially Kiwior from the bench vs Salah &co they wont get belowed 0-0. 1-2 indeed or 0-1.

  • Draw seems likely here

  • Just a kind of game Arsenal need, a big team at the Emirates. The past 2 seasons, Arsenal have been fired up for these kind of ties. Home win by a goal... 2-1 or 3-2. Raya - White, Kiwior, Gabriel, Timber - Partey, Rice - Saka, Trossard, Martinelli- Havertz.

  • Slot says Liverpool will be without striker Diogo Jota who has a rib injury.

  • Arteta said today that at this moment in time he does not know who his starting team will be on Sunday as they have a lot of key players missing.

  • Saka is injured

  • Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 6 away games in the EPL winning their last 4 .

  • @Marbella they havnt beaten Arsenal in last 4 PL games. 2 losses 2 draws under Klopp! Liverpool are really not all that this season. Arsenal have injuries but they’ve played 3 games ending up with 10 players so far this season! Slot may well experience his first list coming into this game. Salut!

  • @albgunn I am not talking about the last 4 games between these teams but instead saying Liverpools last 4 EPL games overall against different teams.

  • @Marbella Arsenal have had 3 send offs ( red cards ) in Their last 9 games. Is a huge difference to being able to play one man less against anyone in PL where Liverpool have not suffered the same. Liverpool have not really blown any team away and yes they pose a threat but Arsenal are a tad bit stronger in my opinion . Arsenal are not losing this game. 2:0/1 :))

  • Liverpool Draw or Win!
