- Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers made just one change from the side that secured a Scottish Cup final spot on penalties after a 3-3 draw against Aberdeen, before a 2-1 victory over Dundee at Dens Park last Sunday.
- Liam Scales returned to the heart of the Celtic defence, accompanying Cameron Carter-Vickers in front of Joe Hart in goal. Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor continued at right-back and left-back respectively.
- Club captain Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Matt O'Riley made up the Hoops midfield. James Forrest came off the bench to fire Celtic in front in a Hampden classic against Aberdeen, was rewarded with a start, and bagged a brace at Yang Hyun-Jun's expense.
- Hearts boss Steven Naismith made three changes from the Jambos suffering Hampden heartache as they lost 2-0 to Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final, before a goalless draw away to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park last Saturday.
- Zander Clark replaced Craig Gordon in goal, to keep his 15th clean sheet of the Scottish Premiership season. Alex Cochrane replaced Alan Forrest on the left flank, as the Jambos switched to a three-at-the-back formation.
- Dexter Lembikisa replaced the injured Nathaniel Atkinson at right wing-back. Jorge Grant, Cammy Devlin and Beni Baningime continued in the middle of the park. Kenneth Vargas moved up front, to join Lawrence Shankland in attack.
