Team News

Roma
Brighton
  • Roma will be without right-backs Rasmus Kristensen and Rick Karsdorp owing to injury.
  • Tammy Abraham is still yet to return after suffering an ACL injury.
  • Brighton will head to the Italian capital without at least five players through injury.
  • Billy Gilmour can be expected to start here in the midst of his domestic suspension.

Prediction

  • Roma continued their remarkable turnaround in form since the arrival of Daniele De Rossi in January with yet another victory in Serie A at the weekend.
  • The Italian side have six of their seven league matches under De Rossi, while they progressed past Feyenoord in the knockout round play-offs in a penalty shootout.
  • Brighton find themselves without a win in three matches heading into this last 16 tie. The Seagulls were comprehensively beaten by Fulham at the weekend.
  • Roberto De Zerbi's men will have to be much improved on that display if they are to get anything against an in-form Roma side here.

  • Lukaku +150 / Dybala +225 To Score Anytime

  • Just sardar azmoun. Good player

  • ROMA Svilar, Celik, Mancini, N'Dicka, Spinazzola, Paredes, Cristante, Pellegrini, Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.

  • Sadly two Brighton fans already stabbed in Rome.

  • 2-2

  • yep 3-1 and wonder why some top European Clubs even consider hiring De Zerbi, are they sucidal?

  • @koziol.mutant Maybe because a club as Brighton is expected to struggle with consistency when they are involved in so many different competitions without the proper depth, and clubs actually looking for a talented coach aren't oblivious to this fact. Also any1 thinking this will be an easy match for Roma, doesn't follow Italian football. Since De Rossi was appointed they are doing better, but they have played mainly against bottom half teams, a lot of them also in poor form. The 3 more difficult matches they had were Inter (they lost, while Inter didn't even play at their best) and the two 1-1 matches against Feyenoord. Brighton themselves might be in a poor form atm, but Roma isn't great either.

  • @DanInter De Zerbi currently dealing with a lot of injuries in the squad too, 3rd most in epl if not mistaken. Regardless, I'm backing roma tonight. Their attack has been good over the past few games tho, brighton to score however
