Copa Libertadores has been the recent priority for San Lorenzo but following their exit in the competition, they can focus back on domestic action.
In spite of a narrow aggregate defeat to Atletico Miniero of Brazil, San Lorenzo held themselves well in the contest and will take confidence from the 180 minute performance.
Talleres suffered a similar fate in continental competition to their weekend opponents, knocked out by River Plate over two legs.
Bruno Barticciotto's six league goals so far this season have seen him become the key attacking threat for Talleres.
