A tale of two giants in disrepair here as Independiente and San Lorenzo continue to languish towards the bottom of the division with mismanagement off the field evidencing itself on the field of late.
Independiente have been unable to stabilise since the departure of Carlos Tevez earlier in the campaign with Julio Vaccari's experience no doubt a factor in the decision to appoint him in hopes of a stabilising period.
The loss of the goals of Adam Bareiro has been and will continue to be a major loss to San Lorenzo who have been able to rely on a player who ultimately was playing at a level beneath his quality for a long period of time.
