Sarmiento continue to languish towards the bottom of the relegation average table in Argentina's complicated domestic setup and will need to perform above average to steer clear of danger.
A 26th place finish out of 28 overall in the Copa de la Liga will have been a concern, particularly with Lisandro Lopez's two goals seeing him as the standout top scorer for Sarmiento.
