good defensive tactics from milan, a little uninspired from psg who despite having some good cominations at times lacked the extra brilliance that wouldve been needed to crack that defense after 1-1. particularly dembele was, on 1 hand, the most incisive psg player carrying forward dangerously, but on the other hand his plays led to nothing - either blocked shots or terrible final passes. only 1 shot that hit the crossbar, maybe unlucky. on the other side of the pitch mbappe did not have any amazing moments after missing the 2 early chances which i have to say he shouldve scored but also his pace in getting there was insane. i noticed that there were always 2 players on him pinning him in the corner - the RB sideways ready to run with him, and another guy covering in case he turned inside. thats what happens when youre a pace merchant but theres no space to actually run into and u have to actually have that tight space dribbling technique to make the difference.
@Icarax forgot to mention loftus cheek the beast every time he picked up the ball he bullied his man and went on to carry forward nicely he done more with his physicality in that match than some hench superstar strikers do in a season i swear
