Team News

Arsenal
Lens
  • Emile Smith Rowe will be assessed for the home side, who are without Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey due to injury.
  • Kai Havertz may be rewarded for his goal on Saturday evening with a start in midweek.
  • David Raya should return between the sticks having been ineligible to face his parent club Brentford on Saturday.
  • Ben White and Fabio Vieira sat out training on Tuesday and are doubts here.
  • Morgan Guilavogui is suspended after his late red card at PSV earlier this month.
  • Jimmy Cabot, Wuilker Farinez and Deiver Machado are absent due to injury but Oscar Cortes is back in training.
  • Machado's absence should pave the way for Ruben Aguilar to start on the right with Przemyslaw Frankowski moving over to the left.

Prediction

  • Arsenal currently top Group B and a win on Wednesday night will see them book their spot in the next round of the Champions League. The Gunners have won three of their four group games, with their only defeat coming in the reverse fixture against Lens.
  • The French side are still in with a chance of progressing to the last-16 of the competition but they need to turn their fortunes around. Indeed, Lens have won only three of their last eight in all competitions though do come into Wednesday's game on the back of a morale-boosting 3-0 win at Clermont Foot.
  • Arsenal are unbeaten at the Emirates this season and have conceded just once in their last four at home. They should win this one with ease.
