Team News

Kayserispor
Sivasspor
  • Hasan Kaldirim is set to deputise for the injured Lionel Carole.
  • Dimitrios Kolovetsios is expected to start at center back as Majid Hosseini is with the Iranian national team in Asia Cup and Julian Jeanvier with Guinea at AFCON.
  • Carlos Mane and Olivier Kemen are also at AFCON for Guinea-Bissau and Cameroon respectively. Mane wasn't a starter and Ramazan Civelek is likely to deputise for Kemen.
  • Anthony Uzodimma, who wasn't expected to start here, is injured.
  • Burak Kapacak is likely to deputise for the injured Emrah Bassan.
  • Clinton N'Jie (Cameroon) and Ahmed Musa (Nigeria) have travelled to AFCON 2023. Gerson Rodrigues is set to start in their absence.

Prediction

  • Kayserispor were beaten 2-0 by Konyaspor last time out. This was their most subdued performance since Ucar took the helm and second defeat in a row.
  • Ucar will be without Kemen and Hosseini as both are away on international duty, which is awful news for a manager who is already struggling with lack of depth in his squad.
  • Sivasspor got a 1-0 win over Istanbulspor last time out. They should've won by a much bigger margin but couldn't keep their composure in front of goal.
  • They are one of the best away teams in the league as they execute the fast break game to perfection. And, they will create quite a few chances here.
  • Kayserispor are a great team at home and have only been beaten by Fenerbahce. However, their form has dropped in the last two weeks and they will be without one of their key defenders.
  • Sivasspor might cause a massive upset here.
