Prediction

  • Samsunspor were kept to a 1-1 draw by Istanbulspor last time out. This was a rather subdued performance by Gisdol's tired-looking team. Against Galatasaray they will be extra motivated. And at home, where they haven't lost in their 5 outings and won their last 3, Samsunspor holding the Lions to a draw wouldn't be a big surprise.
  • Galatasaray needed a late, late goal to beat Gaziantep 2-1 last time out. They created a plethora of chances and almost paid for their wastefulness. Buruk made some questionable choices before the game, such as using Kutlu as a left back, but it was his changes, particularly bringing Zaha on, that brought the win.
  • Although Gala boast more quality, Samsunspor are a very strong side at home. A draw is very likely here.
