Team News

Kasimpasa
Istanbulspor
  • Nuno da Costa, who didn't start against Sivasspor due to an injury, is a doubt. Julien Ngoy is expected to lead the attack in his absence.
  • Samuel Bastien, who wasn't expected to start here, is also injured.
  • Jackson is set to start on the left wing as Valon Ethemi is sidelined with an injury.
  • Simon Deli is also injured, but he wasn't expected to start anyways.

Prediction

  • Kasimpasa were 1-0 winners against Sivasspor last time out. This was a massive victory in one of the more difficult away fixtures in the Super Lig. Ozdes's only concern after the game was the amount of chances they conceded and how they had to rely on the heroics Gianniotis in goal to get all three points.
  • Their home form has not been the best so far this season and this will not be a walk in the park for Ozdes's team.
  • Istanbulspor caused a major upset beating Ankaragucu 2-1 last time out. This was Yakin's first game in charge and Istanbulspor looked more innovative going forward than they have so far this season.
  • They also conceded less chances than usual, which is even more important for a team that will struggle for survival.
  • A repeat of last week's performance could see Istanbulspor bag another point.
