- Rangers manager Philippe Clement named two changes from the Gers team that crashed out of the Europa League thanks to a 1-0 defeat to Benfica, before their 3-1 victory over Hibernian upon their return to league action.
- Ridvan Yilmaz picked up an injury on international duty with Turkey, so Borna Barisic took his place in the Gers defence to join James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and John Souttar. John Lundstram and Mohamed Diomande continued in midfield.
- Tom Lawrence dropped onto the bench, as Todd Cantwell joined Scott Wright and Fabio Silva in support of lone striker Cyriel Dessers. Abdallah Sima was fit enough to feature for ten minutes off the bench after being out for two months through injury.
- Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers named two changes to the Celts side that clinched a 3-1 win at home to St Johnstone before the international break, as they swept Livingston aside 3-0 in West Lothian last Sunday afternoon.
- Liam Scales returned to join Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Greg Taylor in the back four - at Stephen Welsh's expense - for the short trip along the M8. If captain Callum McGregor is fit, he should return in the middle of the park.
- Reo Hatate came back into midfield against Livi, making his first start since October, as he accompanied compatriot Tomoki Iwata and Matt O'Riley with Paulo Bernardo dropping onto the bench.
That was a great game of football.
