- Davie Martindale named an unchanged Livingston team that clinched a huge three points in a 1-0 win over St Mirren in West Lothian, before they lost a big basement battle 3-2 to relegation rivals Ross County in Dingwall at the weekend.
- Shamal George had kept a rare clean sheet for Livi so started behind Jamie Brandon, Michael Nottingham, Ayo Obileye and Mo Sangare who was filling in at left-back. Cristian Montano was back on the bench after injury so could come in soon.
- David Carson, Jason Holt and Andrew Shinnie were chosen as the midfield trio. Joel Nouble and Stephen Kelly aimed to support Tete Yengi up front. Bruce Anderson came off the bench to bag a brace in Dingwall so could start here.
- Stuart Kettlewell named just one change to the Motherwell team despite a 2-0 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle, before Celtic hit the Steelmen with a late sucker punch as two late goals sealed a 3-1 win for the Hoops at Fir Park on Sunday.
- Dan Casey continued alongside Bevis Mugabi and Paul McGinn in the Well's back three. Georgie Gent and Adam Devine remained at left and right wing-back with Lennon Miller and Davor Zdravkovski starting in the middle of the park.
- Blair Spittal missed the trip to Edinburgh but started and scored against the reigning champions, taking Harry Paton's place. Jack Vale and Theo Bair lead the line for the Well, as Oli Shaw returned to the bench having not played since December.
