- Ross County boss Derek Adams named an unchanged Staggies side that fell to a sole goal which saw Celtic beat them at Parkhead last weekend, before a 2-2 draw with Livingston in West Lothian in their midweek match.
- George Wickens, on loan from Fulham, started in goal. Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Will Nightingale, Loick Ayina and James Brown made up the back four. Victor Loturi, Eli King and Teddy Jenks were chosen in the middle of the park.
- Yan Dhanda, who will depart Dingwall in the summer, started on the left-hand side with Brandon Khela on the right. And Simon Murray, who bagged a brace on Tuesday night, lead the line for County in their basement battle with Livi.
- St Johnstone boss Craig Levein named two changes to the Saints side that drew 1-1 with Aberdeen at McDiarmid Park, before they made it back-to-back draws at home by the same scoreline in their stalemate with Motherwell on Saturday.
- Andy Considine, club captain Liam Gordon and Saints' scorer Ryan McGowan made up the back three against the Well. Max Kucheriavyi entered a five-man St Johnstone midfield, at Sven Sprangler's expense.
- Graham Carey moved slightly further forward in a role to support Saints' sole striker. Diallang Jaiyesimi dropped onto the substitutes' bench, as Benjamin Kimpioka was given the nod up front.
