Ross County
- Stuart Kettlewell named an unchanged eleven despite Motherwell's heartbreaking 2-1 defeat to Celtic at Fir Park, before they fell to a 2-0 loss to Livingston last time out in West Lothian before the international break.
- Paul McGinn continued to accompany Bevis Mugabi and Dan Casey in the Well's back three in front of goalkeeper Liam Kelly. Stephen O'Donnell and Brodie Spencer continued at right and left wing-back respectively.
- Lennon Miller will miss this match, after being sent off against Livi, so Georgie Gent could be in line to take his place in midfield. Blair Spittal and Callum Slattery are likely to continue supporting lone striker Theo Bair.
- Ross County boss Malky Mackay named three changes to the Staggies side which lost in a 1-0 defeat at home to Hearts in their last match before the international break, before a goalless stalemate at Dens Park against Dundee on Tuesday night.
- Dylan Smith made his first start of the season, accompanying Ryan Leak and Jack Baldwin, at Will Nightingale's expense in the Staggies' back three in front of goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw. Victor Loturi replaced Kyle Turner in midfield.
- The Staggies' star man, Yan Dhanda, continued to support two centre forwards. Simon Murray returned to the starting eleven, as Alex Samuel dropped out, to partner Jordan White in attack.
