- Stuart Kettlewell named one enforced change after Motherwell fell to a 2-0 loss to Livingston in West Lothian prior to the international break, before a crazy 3-3 draw with Ross County at Fir Park on Saturday afternoon.
- Paul McGinn continued to accompany Bevis Mugabi and Dan Casey in the Well's back three in front of goalkeeper Liam Kelly. Stephen O'Donnell and Brodie Spencer continued at right and left wing-back respectively.
- Lennon Miller missed the match against Ross County after being sent off against Livi. A shape change saw Oli Shaw partner Theo Bair up front, supported by Callum Slattery, Harry Paton and Blair Spittal in midfield.
- Aberdeen boss Barry Robson named one change to the Dons team that suffered late European heartbreak on Thursday night, as they lost 3-2 to PAOK at Pittodrie, before a 2-0 defeat to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Sunday afternoon.
- Despite PAOK's late flurry of goals in the north east, the back three all kept their places with Jack MacKenzie and Nicky Devlin at left wing-back and right wing-back respectively.
- The second goalscorer against the Greek outfit, Dante Polvara, made way for Duk to accompany Bojan Miovski - the Dons' first goalscorer on Thursday night - in attack away to Killie.
